A celebration of rudimental drumming and marching bands percussion
A truly international festival focusing on rudimental drumming and marching bands percussion. Top players and bands from around the world gather in Athens in September for a two-day event full of performances, presentations & clinics. The event is organized by the Greek Rudimental Drumming Community (GRDC) and supported by the Society of International Rudimental Drummers (SIRD).
The festival aims to inspire the Greek percussionist community and young generation to get to know and learn the rudimental drumming language and traditions from all around the world. Also, this will be a chance for Greek groups and individuals to showcase Greek traditions and heritage to the international community.
